Description
We cater for a wide range of equestrian interests for all ages and abilities including competitions, training, pleasure rides, treasure hunts, champion horse and rider days and social events.
The latter includes dinners, BBQs, trips, quizzes as well as educational talks by farriers, dentists and vets etc.
Our Annual Trophy Show is very popular in the local area and includes classes for everyone from fancy dress toddlers to showjumping and working hunter.
We also organise both social and ridden events to support local charities.
Many of our members come from within sight of the landmark Pole Moor twin masts- Outlane, Golcar, Slaithwaite, and Scammonden although increasingly members choose to box from further afield - not least those who've moved out of the district but enjoy the friendly atmosphere within the club. Non horse owners are welcome.
We run flatwork, jumping and Working Hunter clinics and unaffiliated Dressage and Jumping competitions.
Whilst maintaining the more fun events, having recently affiliated to BRC, we welcome members interested in competing and/or supporting our teams at Area Qualifiers.
Want to meet us and find out more? Then you're welcome to come to our monthly meetings at the Rose and Crown, Cop Hill, Slaithwaite, 8pm every first Tuesday in the month.
