Halesworth and District Riding Club

HDRC is a friendly and welcoming club. We pride ourselves on being inclusive to everyone, juniors, and adults, at all levels, from the most nervous of beginners to people looking to regain their confidence to those looking to improve their riding, as well as riders looking to compete and represent their club at the area and national competitions.

We run regular competitions and training sessions throughout the year covering most disciplines, but mainly dressage and show jumping. Many of our training sessions are held in the evening to accommodate those people who are unable to attend during the day. We have an annual camp, based at Waresley Park, which is mainly focused on the jumping, including grid work, jumping a course and cross country training – including a chance to use the gallops! We also run fun social events such as quizzes and BBQs and are always looking for other ideas to get our members together to enjoy themselves.
