Gilford and District Riding Club

Gilford Riding Club is a relatively new club established in 2013 and fully affiliated in May 2014. The excellent facilities at Ballymac Stud make it a superb training venue, with indoor and outdoor arena's and cross country training fences. Ballymac is run by Steven and Trevor Smith. Two of Ireland's leading Event riders, having represented their country at Olympic and European level.

The club enjoys a healthy membership of enthusiastic junior, senior and non-riding members who all contribute to the success of the club. Club nights are held every first and third Monday of each month with regular lessons in flatwork, dressage and show jumping. The club tries to ensure all riders are catered for.
The club welcomes riders of all abilities and provides tuition and events to suit all. Lessons and events are run throughout the year taken by various experienced trainers. The club also enters individuals and teams in Inter-Club competitions and Riding Club Championships
