Description
Over the years the Club has grown and developed a wide range of activities, but always remembering that our aim is to have fun! We cater for both juniors (any age) and seniors and offer a wide and varied programme to our members.
Most of our events are held at our Club field that is situated in Seale Road on the outskirts of the village of Elstead in Surrey. We are very fortunate that the club field has naturally sandy soil and we can use it virtually all year round. We have (natural) sand arenas which we use for instruction, dressage competitions and warming up for both dressage and show jumping. We have show jumps and a short cross country course within the field. Members are welcome to hire the field for schooling.
We run a number of open events each year including jumping, showing and dressage with cheaper entry fees for members. We also arrange closed club events just for members – as well as competitions such as dressage and show jumping we organize fun events for all ages. Clear round jumping sessions are held throughout the winter months.
We are very enthusiastic about team competitions, which offer a wonderful opportunity to bring club members together and a good excuse for a party! However, we recognize that not everyone wants to compete and we aim to ensure that we offer something for everyone. We organize regular instruction and social events including quizzes, talks, BBQs, and visits to places of interest.
Members are welcome to 'hire the field' for private training sessions with their own instructors.
