East Clwyd Riding Club

East Clwyd Riding Club was formed in December 1974 for the benefit of local riders and has a regular membership of around 150.

We are a seniors only club and affiliated to the BHS, Area 20.  Members come from a large area around North Wales and Cheshire for the facilities and training we provide. Our usual club venue is the Equine Unit at Deeside College.

We hold dressage and showjumping competitions every month which are open to all and members enjoy the added benefits of rallies and clinics with specialist trainers.

We also hold social functions for members, the favorite being Somerford Park Camp held annually.

Our teams, of which any member can be part of, regularly represent the Club at Area 20 competitions.
